CJ Kettler is a two time Emmy Nominated Television Producer and Media & Entertainment Executive focused on building brands and property franchises. Based in NYC, she has held senior management positions at MTV Networks, Oxygen Media, Vestron, Travelzoo and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. As a serial entrepreneur, she led the sale of Channel One News to HMH, Sunbow Entertainment to Sony, and LIME to Gaiam--all strategic transactions. In television and multimedia, she develops and produces unique intellectual properties featuring strong characters and compelling storylines that build long lifecycle heritage brands and franchises.
In December 2017, CJ Kettler was named president of King Features --a Division of Hearst and home to iconic characters including Popeye, Olive Oyl, Flash Gordon, The Phantom and Mandrake. Kettler’s mission is to focus on new initiatives for King Features’ IP brand franchises and partner based comics in print, digital, and video entertainment across multiple platforms. The Cuphead Show! is King Feature’s first animated series production announced with Netflix.
